Our homemade goods are carefully prepared with our freshly-picked apples. We use no preservatives in our products, several of which are certified Aliment Québec or Aliments preparés au Québec.
For the joy of treating oneself or to give onto others, our goods are available at the orchard’s boutique from early August until the end of October and in certain food distributors around the region!
Always day fresh, every day!
Our reputation has much to do with our beloved apple muffins, found in the orchard’s boutique during the season as well as in certain selected retailers in the region throughout the year! An original recipe for 30 years.
Our apple syrup comes from a full night of labour. A 125 ml pot is a concentrated product of about twenty apples that were sieved drop by drop to extract a maximum of juice.
Here are a few suggestions for its uses:
Apple Syrup Sauce: On ice cream, sorbet, yogurt and cakes;
Vinaigrette: Mixed with olive oil, nuts and shallot;
Apple Syrup Sangria: Add 2 spoonfuls of syrup to a creamer from La Cidrerie du minot, a small stick of cinnamon, some ice cubes and apple slices for presentation, and you have an excellent apple sangria.
APPLE BUTTER, APPLE JELLY & PEAR BUTTER
Made with apples and pears from the Labonté Orchard, our butters are homemade without preservatives.
As spreads on toasts and bagels to start your day right;
As a marinade for pork;
As appetizer, on a small toasted cracker with a slice of goat or brie, caramelized onions and apple butter. A little tan under 350 degrees, and you’ve got a winner!
PIES, CRISP, AND CRISP-PIES
Always homemade, these pies and crips have always charmed our guests. And for the indecisive, we have crisp-pies made from a pie crust but topped like a crisp. The best of both worlds! Serves 6. Sometimes just 4!
Available in the boutique in season.
Never with any preservatives or other added chemicals, our homemade crispy apples come in 20 gm or 100 gm formats.
They’re the perfect snacks for little cravings. With their crackling texture, they can also be crumbled into a salad.
